Hong Kong trip: Disneyland

Well, hello everyone! I haven't been posting and I have no excuse for that other than good ol' laziness.

If you are following me on Twitter, you probably know that last March I went to Hong Kong with 3 of my friends. Yay! It's been a long time since I last left the country, so yeah I was excited!

We left Manila on March 9th, we arrived in HK in the evening so after checking in, we just bought food from  the nearby 7-11 and fixed our things.

the next day, march 10, is Disneyland day!!!!!! It's my second time going here, but you can't help but feel really excited! It is indeed the happiest place on earth! And You can never be too old for Disney!!!

Me and Riza

Bheng and Sari; Having our breakfast at Burger King before going to Disneyland!

Our tickets! Check with your hotel our guesthouse if they sell tickets. Our guesthouse does and they sell it for a lower price!
Aboard the Disneyland Resort Line
The Park is accessible by different means of transportation. But I think the easiest and fastest way to get there is by train.

we've arrived!!!

whattup!

Sleeping Beauty Castle

Everyone who visits this place probably have a similar photo to this one!

Golden Mickeys!

I forgot the name of this attraction. Uhm.

It's a Small World after all!

Philippines represent!

Most of the countries were present in this boat ride. And The song was being played  in different languages as well depending on which part you are in.

Princess pose. Cinderella made us do this!

It's a must that I ride Space Mountain, Obviously a favorite of mine! Two of my friends were not entirely happy about this ride, tho!

There are new attractions as well, there's the Toy Story land and Grizzly Gulch.

must-rides are: Toy Soldier Parachute Drop and the Runaway Mine Cars. Unfortunately for us, the RC Racer was closed.

Runaway Mine Cars

The Flights of Fantasy Parade is at 4pm. To have a better view, go to the Main Street as early as 3pm.

We stayed until the fireworks, because you can't simply go to a Disneyland Park and not see the fireworks! You just can't!

The Castle at night. What a sight!

And as expected, the fireworks display, Disney in the Stars, was beyond awesome!!! We already went in front of the Castle two hours before it starts, so we had a perfect view! We took turns in doing last minute shopping so someone is left to man our "seats". HAHA!

I swear, this is one of the best ever. Will definitely go back, hopefully next year, and I recently checked their site, a new attraction has opened, the Mystic Point. Sounds interesting to me.

If you plan to shop a lot, bring lots of cash. I swear there are a lot to buy there! Or at least buy a small trinket as a souvenir. What I bought for myself is a bracelet charm. I already have a Disney Princess Bracelet which I bought on my first visit.

Note to self: Bring extra camera battery. Mine died right before the fireworks so I had no choice but to use my iTouch.

Disney in the Stars: all 10 minutes of this video was shot using my iTouch. So yeah, sorry for the crap quality.

xx,
Tin
