I came across one Instagram online shop selling MAC lipsticks for only PhP250. I know what you're thinking, wow it's so cheap. But this question must have also crossed your mind, are they the real deal? (Do I post here the IG name?) The seller did post, though, that the lipsticks are Singapore authentic.

Honestly, I didn't know what Singapore authentic meant. But with a price like that for a MAC lipstick, it has got to be fake.

And yes, they are. I asked a friend of mine what Singapore authentic means. Apparently, those lipsticks are made in Singapore, which also means that they're fake. My friend said that those are the ones being sold on the streets of Singapore.

Authentic MAC Cosmetics come from the states, I believe. And in no part of the world can you get a lipstick that cheap. Here in the Philippines it's around Php800-1000. I also bought one in Hong Kong, from their Archie's Girls Collection, which costs HKD150.

Be aware of all the products you buy online. be it cosmetics, clothes, shoes or bags. Some claim their goods to be original, but they really are not. Sometimes the items are class AAA(?), that it will be hard for you tell that it's a fake.

I myself have bought some lippies from an IG shop, yes they sell authentic stuff. Don't worry!
