The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins

I just finished the last 2 books recently, I do't know why I didn't read it as soon as I finished the first one.

Anyway...

You all may have seen the movie already, so more or less you know what the book is about.

But here's a refresher: The Hunger Games trilogy takes us to North America, in a city called Panem. Panem has 12 districts, each one contributing goods/products for the whole. The city is controlled by the Capitol, and  every year they hold  the Games.

The Games served as a reminder to everyone of the rebellion that the nonexistent (or so they think) District 13, each District, 1 to 12, will have two tributes for the Games. In the shortest explanation possible, the Games is a game of survival. Tributes will be killed or die of natural death. They will have to fight for their lives. And only one will emerge as the Victor. That was the rule until Katniss Everdeen pulled those berries that the Capitol took as an act of rebellion.

That's when we reach the pages of Catching Fire. The movie is set to be released on November 22, 2013. Another Games, the Quarter Quell, rebellion, and definitely more death.

As for Mockingjay, it will be split into two movies. Honestly, I don't know how they are going to do that. The book has 3 parts, but my guess is (SPOILER ALERT), they're going to cut the first movie on the part when they've rescued Peeta from the Capitol.

I hear questions: Why was Peeta with the Capitol? I guess you have to read the books or wait for the movie. Ha ha! First part will be out on 2014, ans the second on 2015.

This is one of those books I actually cannot stop reading. Your imagination will go vivid at every turn of the page. never short on adrenaline.

Ladies, character you should watch out for: Finnick Odair. One Described by Katniss as the sex god from District 4. ;)

Favorite line:
"It takes ten times as long to put yourself back together as it does to fall apart" (Mockingjay)
