We were at the airport, NAIA Terminal 3, around 5 in the morning. As our flight is at 6:15AM. But then, Cebu Pacific Happened, so our flight was delayed by 2 freakin' hours. Good thing they transferred us to a different flight, so we were able to leave Manila around 7AM.
We arrived in Cebu past 8AM. From the Airport, we went straight to the hotel. We were there by 9AM, but the check-in time is 2PM. Luckily, our room was vacant so they allowed us to check-in earlier. We took a quick rest then headed out for lunch.
Btw, we stayed at Adelfa Hotel, located near Fuente Osmena Circle, just behind Chong Hua Hospital. We're few walks away from the main road, Larsians, Crown Regency and other dining spots.
First things first, lunch time! We had our lunch at Zubuchon, located at One Mango Mall. About 10 minutes walk from our hotel.
When we went there, the lechon wasn't ready yet and we were really hungry so we ordered something else instead.

After lunch, we started our city tour. We walked to Fuente Osmena Circle and rode a jeepney going to Plaza Independencia. Then we just walked going to Fort San Pedro, Magellan's Cross and Basilica Del Santo Nino.

Magellan's Cross (They're renovating the place, I think this was affected by the earthquake last October 2013) |
There are ladies outside the cross selling these candles (each with a meaning, like for success, health, love, etc) then they will offer a prayer for you |
Basilica Del Santo Nino (They said in every new church you visit, you should light a candle and make a wish. Real or not, I still light a candle and say a prayer) |
In the afternoon, we then went to the Taoist Temple. You will pass by the Capitol going there. And then go down the jeepney after you passed the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, it's a big white temple, you wouldn't miss it. then, there will be a Habal-habal or motorcycles, costs P10.00, these will be your ride going up 'til the Beverly Hills Subdivision gate. Then you'll have to walk your way going up the Taoist Temple. But lucky for us, there was a taxi who needed a passenger to get in the village, he offered us a ride for free. YAY!

You can go to all these places just by riding the jeepney. unlike here in Manila, their jeepneys have codes, it will be easier if you already know the code of the ones you have to ride. Their route or place of destination are also posted. each of our jeepney rides costs only P8.00.
