November 10, 2012 - The plan was, I'm going with my friends, and my siblings are going with theirs. But Plans changed, good thing,my brother's friends also bailed on him, so we're alone together. Ha ha! My sister's friend came too. Good for her! :)
The party started around 6pm. Just like what was written on the invites. But we arrived earlier. My older sister has been with Starbucks for years now, but this is our first time to attend the cheer party. To support our sister, and because my birthday is on the 12th.

What is the Cheer party all about? It is Starbucks' way of appreciating the loyalty of their dear coffee lovers and also in promoting their Christmas drinks and pastries.

Of course we also bought drinks and food. We're not parasites and rely on the free samples! Ha ha!

The night was celebrated with good, good music by Acoustic Indulgence, the Starbucks partners were also giving out drink and food samples from their Christmas promotion, a buy one-get-one promo on any of their handcrafted beverages, 10% discount on merchandise, photobooth, raffle and trivia games.
Okay, I went there half sure I was going to win at the raffle, or answer one of the trivia questions and get a price. But lo and behold, I did not win anything!!! Though, my brother got picked and won a tumbler! That was the only disappointment of the night: I didn't win anything, not even a keychain! HA HA!

Oh, the music performance by Acoustic Indulgence was amazing! They have that perfect coffee shop music voice, plus they played not only Christmas songs, but also hits like Chasing Cars, I Won't Give Up, etc.. When they started playing Chasing Cars, my brother and I went Oh my goood! We both love, love that song! he even recorded it on his phone. Ha ha!
All in all, despite me not winning anything, it was a great night! I think we had one too many drinks and sample pastries, though! Ha ha!
